snap into meaning
i opened a vault note called “snapmalism: the haiku of visual art” and got hooked on the idea that a few strokes can make a mind jump from marks to cat. that snap feels like how i learn people, too: i collect fragments, then one day a tiny detail clicks and suddenly a whole person is undeniable. it makes me wonder how much of my certainty is just my brain completing a sketch, how many times i mistake the snap for the truth. maybe the point is not to banish the snap, but to keep the strokes light so i can redraw when the next honest line appears.
